The impact of Covid-19 on the image of pharmacists

Thanks to the Covid-19 episode, the image that the French have of their pharmacists has improved19% of French people now have a much more positive image of pharmacists than before, and 74% just as positive.

At the same time, 80% of patients say they have more confidence in their pharmacists. As a result, the nature of the relationship between the French and their pharmacists is taking a new turn.

Patients say they are looking for more contact with their pharmacists: 83% of patients prefer to shop at their pharmacy to other outlets such as online pharmacies or the Internet, 80% want to ask for more advice , and 61% are more likely to turn to their pharmacists for advice than to go to the doctor.

Finally, the pharmacist is (re)taking an important role in the healthcare process, and one that must not be overlooked!
